Dennis O'Brien (Hugh Beaumont) is hired by Barton (Stanley Price) to bet on Harper, an old fighter, against Lundy (Greg McClure), placing the bets in the name of Steve Belzig. Lundy dies of a blood clot during the bout. At Barton's hotel, after the fight, Dennis finds Gannon (William Tannen) and Lundy, where he learns that Belzig is Lundy's real name and that Barton and Gannon had the fight fixed for Lundy to take a dive in the first round, but Barton told Lundy to wait until the seventh and Harper didn't last that long. Dennis is knocked out and comes to to find police Lt. Burger (Richard Travis) in the room with him with Lundy dead. Accused of the murder and out on bail, Dennis starts his own investigation and finds that Gale Chase (Rebel Randall) is connected with Gannon. He makes Gannon think that Gale is double-crossing him, but is arrested by Burger before he can harm Gale...(end first story...start second story)...Irma Rand (Joan Valerie) hires Dennis to pose as Ted Fallon, husband of her step-daughter Sylvia (Wanda McKay). She introduces him to Eddie (Abner Biberman) and Bill Rafferty (Anthony Warde), who knock him out and he awakens to find himself next to the body of the real Ted Fallon. He goes to Sylvia's apartment where he is again slugged by the two thugs, but this time he awakens and finds both men dead. The always-late Lt.Burger accuses him of these crimes. He learns from his buddy, Professor Shicker (Edward Brophy) that Sylvia had cashed $30,000 worth of bonds belonging to Rafferty and is planning to flee the country with Irma. Catching up to them Dennis and Burger learn that Irma killed Ted Fallon...and Sylvia, believing that Rafferty did it, killed him and Eddie.
Lt. Dan Oliver (Richard Emory), an American soldier in Korea, agrees to deliver a jade dragon statuette to a curio shop in Los Angeles. Soon after his arrival, he is murdered. Phil Ramsey (Richard Travis) and Ginny O'Donnell (Sheila Ryan) trace the murder to the shop of Professor Kim Ho (Jack Reitzen). Ramsey receives a package mailed to him by Oliver from Honolulu that contains the jade dragon, and takes it to the curio shop to force a showdown with Kim Ho. He is attacked by Ho's hoods and is about to be killed when Ginny arrives with Police Lt. McLaughton (Lyle Talbot) and the police.
The Dalton gang has moved west taking new identities and Marshals Lash and Fuzzy are after them. They receive help from Pinkerton agent Joan Talbot as they try to sort out who the bad guys really are.

Johnny looks so much like the real Jesse, he is mistaken for him by a grizzled old member of the now deceased James gang. Johnny is talked into leading a new gang to rob banks using the same modus operandi as the famed outlaw. Jesse's brother Frank decides to put a stop to the defamation of his dead brother's name. Johnny and his gang run into trouble when they try to rob the same two banks, simultaneously, that proved to be the downfall of the original gang.
Marshals Lash and Fuzzy have been sent to bring in the masked whip wielding El Azote. When Lash displays his ability with his whip, he is hired to impersonate El Azote. This eventually brings the two together for the climatic whip fight.

Posing as Lola Belmont, an American visiting from Detroit, teams up with Joaquin Murietta (Philip Reed), posing as Carlos Del Rio), to form a Robin-Hood type band that takes vengeance on the gang and restores stolen gold to its rightful owners, aided by militia leader Dan Hinsdale (Willard Parker.)

Deputy Marshal Larry West (Don Barry) arrives in Rincon to investigate the murders of several ranchers. Blackie Mullet (Robert Lowery), leader of a gang working for the local land-and-water company, tries to convince Larry that the Indians are responsible for the killings, while Larry's old friend newspaper editor Amos Boling (Byron Foulger) and his assistant Polly Medford (Julie Adams as Betty Adams)tell him they suspect the land company and that Blackie is actually head of the infamous Dalton gang. Sheriff Jeb Marvin (James Millican) locks Larry up after he kills Missouri Ganz (Greg McClure) in self defense. Friendly Indians, led by Chief Irahu (George J. Lewis), free Larry and he goes on the trail of Blackie and the gang.
Two talent scouts for a New York-based country music TV show called "Square Dance Jubilee" are sent out West to get authentic western singing acts. They find what they're looking for, but also get mixed up in cattle rustling and murder.
The Pecos Kid (Don Barry) is ambushed on the Red Desert and left to die by the man he was hunting. As he muses about his fate, he recalls President U.S.Grant (Joseph Crehan) and Colonel McMasters (Tom London) assigning him the task of capturing a notorious man of many disguises and aliases, Lefty Jordon, killer and robber of government gold bullion. Pecos leaves Washington, D.C and while coming West on a stagecoach he meets casino owner John Williams (Tom Neal), jeweler Sparky Jackson (Byron Foulger) and saloon entertainer Hazel Carter (Margia Dean.) Williams and his partner Deacon Smith (Jack Holt) hire Pecos as a card dealer. Pecos discovers that Williams is shipping bullion processed into jewelry and, when he starts after Williams, is forced to kill Smith. Williams escapes into the desert but is killed by Pecos after a long chase. He then realizes that Williams is not the wanted Lefty Jordan. Recovering from his wound, he heads to town to deal with Jordan as he now knows who Jordan really is.

A few minutes before he is killed by an unseen gunman using a split-butt rifle, in a saloon in Tumult, Wyoming, railway employee Harley Masters (Wheaton Chambers) gives a secret map to Deputy Marshal Ed Garry (Jon Hall.) Garry is questioned about the murder by Master's niece Janet (Frances Langford); her cousin Bill Masters (Russell Hayden); the town big-shot, Joel Benton (Dick Foran) and Doc Vinson (Clem Bevans). Garry meets Claire Benton (Julie Bishop) when her brother and his henchman Eli Cressett (Joe Sawyer) question Garry about the map. Garry accuses Cressett of being one of the two wanted men he is seeking. Cressett, aided by Benton, escapes from jail. Garry and Janet find a split-butt rifle near where one of her hands was killed in a rustling raid. They take it to town and Garry telegraphs the Winchester Arms Company and asks the name of the purchaser based on their serial number records. Cressett meets with Bill Masters, the real leader of the gang, and is offered more money if he will kill Benton. He agrees, but intends to double-cross Masters.
After a big bank job, a bandit tries to avoid the posse on his trail.
