Freeman King was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. King started in the industry by acting in films like "The Buddy Holly Story" (1978) with Gary Busey. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Comedy Show" (CBS, 1974-75) and "The Primary English Class" (ABC, 1976-77). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Gus Brown and Midnight Brewster" (NBC, 1984-85). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Mike's Murder" (1984) with Debra Winger and the Chevy Chase mystery thriller "Fletch" (1985). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Dance Fever" (1979-1983) and "Semi-Tough" (ABC, 1979-1980). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles on "Perfect Strangers" (ABC, 1985-1993) and "Life Goes On" (ABC, 1989-1993). King focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Tate Donovan comedy "Dangerous Curves" (1988) and the action film "Lionheart" (1991) with Jean-Claude van Damme. King more recently wrote "To Protect and Serve" (1992).
