Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

Kathryn Kirkpatrick's career as a full time character actress has taken her from family films to thrillers and everything in between. Like the best character actors, her ability to transform into the part needed has allowed Kirkpatrick to step onto the sets of several popular films and television programs since the mid 1990s, and there have been trends in her roles. For example, she has played the part of a nurse in five different projects, including her 2011 appearance on the hit crime drama "Fringe" as Nurse Sheila. Kirkpatrick made her acting debut in the role of Hilda in the 1994 aptly titled Canadian film "1994." From there, she continued working predominantly in film with smaller roles until her appearance as Bernice in the 2000 made-for-television movie "Flowers for Algernon," the story of a mentally handicapped man who undergoes an experimental surgery in hopes of improving his condition. The early 2000s saw her move into more television roles, appearing on series such as "The Chris Isaak Show" in two episodes as a cosmetologist and receptionist. One of her most popular film projects was the hit coming-of-age comedy "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" in which she appeared as a waitress....
