Selton Mello was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Mello kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Four Days in September" (1998), "O Auto da Compadecida" (2000) and "To the Left of the Father" (2001). He also appeared in the romantic comedy "Coronel e o Lobisomem" (2005) with Ana Paula Arósio, "Lisbela and the Prisoner" (2005) and "O Cheiro Do Ralo" (2007). His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like "Meu Nome Nao E Johnny" (2008), the dramatic musical "Out of Tune" (2008) with Rodrigo Santoro and "The Herb of the Rat" (2008). He also appeared in "Brazuca" (2009). More recently, he tackled roles in the romantic comedy "The Invisible Woman" (2009) with Marcelo Adnet, "Federal" (2010) and the biopic drama "Lope" (2010) with Luis Tosar. He also appeared in "Billi Pig" (2012) and "The Clown" (2013). Most recently, Mello acted in the suspenseful adaptation "Trash" (2015) with Martin Sheen.
