Turbulence (1997)
On a stormy Christmas Eve, a young female flight attendant is forced to land a 747 jumbo jet after the crew is murdered by an escaping prisoner en route to Los Angeles International Airport.
2.
Air Force One (1997)
The President of the United States, James Marshall, takes a tough anti-terrorist stance and then becomes a hostage himself when Air Force One is taken over by terrorists from Kazakhstan, led by Ivan Korshunov, who demand the release of their fascistic leader General Radek. The President seems to escape from the plane in an emergency capsule yet is actually hiding on board. He silently kills a member of the terrorist group before establishing contact with F-15''s to engage the hijacked plane. As passengers escape by parachute, Marshall is captured by Ivan and forced to release General Radek, setting in motion an international incident.
3.
Multiplicity (1996)
Doug Kinney could use a miracle. A devoted husband, father and businessman, Doug is married to an adoring wife, and a demanding job, both of which leave him little time to enjoy either. With too much to do and not nearly enough time in which to do it in, Doug is ready to snap until he meets world-renowned geneticist Dr. Owen Leeds who offers him the chance to get control of his life by becoming the ultimate split personality and having himself cloned. If life was complicated with just one Doug, wait until he multiplies.
4.
Species (1995)
In 1974, the United States government relayed a message containing information about Earth and its inhabitants--including the DNA sequences that make up the human cell--to the rest of the galaxy. Twenty years later, a reply finally arrives, containing a unique sequence of DNA--along with the friendly instruction to combine it with our own. A top secret experiment is undertaken and within weeks one of the injected human ova grows into a seemingly normal female child, called "Sil." It soon becomes apparent, however, that she possesses dangerous alien characteristics. The decision to exterminate the "child" meets with disastrous results when the rapidly-developing Sil escapes into the desert. A specialized team is quickly assembled to locate Sil, but what they don''t realize is that their quarry has metamorphosed into what appears to be a stunningly beautiful young woman who''s loose in Los Angeles with a relentless inner drive to mate with a human being.
