William Edward Phipps was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Phipps marked his early career with roles in "Sara" (1975-76), "Space Force" (NBC, 1977-78) and "Time Express" (CBS, 1978-79). He went on to act in "Boone" (1983-84), "Lots of Luck" (Disney, 1984-85) and "Little Girl Lost" (ABC, 1987-88). He also appeared in "Empty Nest" (1988-1995), the action film "Messenger of Death" (1988) with Charles Bronson and the dramatic adventure "Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey" (1993) with Don Alder. More recently, Phipps worked on the Newell Alexander dramatic adaptation "Sordid Lives" (2001).
