Actress Cheryl Pollak was known for her roles on the silver screen. She had an early role on the television special "What's Alan Watching?" (CBS, 1988-89). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Perfect People" (1987-88), "Swimsuit" (NBC, 1988-89) and "For the Very First Time" (NBC, 1990-91). At the time, she also appeared in movies like the Robert Sean Leonard comedy "My Best Friend Is a Vampire" (1988) and "Night Life" (1989). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Marla Hanson Story" (NBC, 1990-91). Following that project, she worked on the dramatic musical "Pump Up the Volume" (1990) with Christian Slater and the dramedy "Crossing the Bridge" (1992) with Josh Charles. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Hull High" (NBC, 1990-91). Pollak also appeared in the Brad Pitt drama "Dark Side of the Sun" (1998), the comedy "Betty" (1998) with Ron Perlman and "No Strings Attached" (1999). She also appeared in "Art House" (2001). Most recently, Pollak acted in the Nick Mancuso thriller "A Time of Fear" (2005).
