Alexandre Rignault was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rignault kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Michel Simon drama "La Chienne" (1931), the Jean Marais drama "L' Eternel Retour" (1947) and the Paul Henreid comedy "Pardon My French" (1951). He also appeared in the comedy sequel "Retour de Don Camillo" (1954) with Fernandel, the dramedy "The Happy Road" (1956) with Gene Kelly and the comedic adaptation "House of Lovers" (1958) with Gerard Philipe. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in the Jean Gabin comedic drama "Le Baron de l'Ecluse" (1960), the foreign "Eyes Without a Face" (1962) with Pierre Brasseur and the comedy "Pas Folle la Guepe" (1972) with Francoise Rasay. He also appeared in "Les Bijoux de Famille" (1975), "Numero Deux" (1975) with Sandrine Battistella and "Le Diable dans la boite" (1977). In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "Le Paradis des Riches" (1978), "La Ville des Silences" (1979) and "Un Balcon en foret" (1979). He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Mon oncle d'Amerique" (1980) with Gérard Depardieu, "L' Ami de Vincent" (1983) and "Partenaires" ...
