Dorothy Tristan was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. To break into the world of acting, Tristan held roles in films like "The End of the Road" (1970) and "Scarecrow" (1973) with Gene Hackman and Al Pacino. She also starred in the TV movies "Isn't It Shocking?" (ABC, 1973-74) and "Journey From Darkness" (NBC, 1974-75). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "The Waltons" (CBS, 1972-1981). She also appeared in the TV special "The Oath: the Sad and Lonely Sundays" (ABC, 1975-76). She also starred in the TV movies "The Trial of Chaplain Jensen" (1974-75), "Fear on Trial" (CBS, 1975-76) and "Griffin and Phoenix" (ABC, 1975-76). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Robert Shaw action picture "Swashbuckler" (1976) and "Rollercoaster" (1977). In the seventies and the eighties, Tristan lent her talents to projects like "The Return of the Incredible Hulk" (CBS, 1977-78), "Jaws 2" with Roy Scheider (1978) and "California Dreaming" with Glynnis O'Connor (1979). Her credits also expanded to "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" with Nick Nolte (1986), "Steal the Sky" (HBO, 1987-88) and "Weeds"...
