Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

There is no doubt the success of many great films can be attributed to Tibor Takacs, a well-known director with an impressive career. Takacs directed a variety of independent films at the beginning of his Hollywood career, working on such titles as "The Gate" (1987) with Christa Denton, "I, Madman" (1989) starring Jenny Wright and the Louis Tripp horror sequel "Gate II" (1992). He also appeared in the thriller "Deadly Past" (1995) with Ronny Marquette. He also directed the TV movies "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" (Showtime, 1995-96) and "Sabotage" (HBO, 1996-97). More recently, Takacs helmed a number of films, including the Fintan McKeown sci-fi motion picture "Earthquake: Nature Unleashed" (2004) and "Lies & Illusions" (2008). Most recently, Takacs directed the sci-fi flick "Spiders 3-D" (2013) with Patrick Muldoon.
