Olive Carey was an actress who graced the silver screen many times throughout her Hollywood career. Carey kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "Trader Horn" (1931) with Harry Carey, "Border Devils" (1932) and "Face to Face" (1952) with Robert Preston. She also appeared in the drama "On Dangerous Ground" (1952) with Ida Lupino, the drama "Affair With a Stranger" (1953) with Jean Simmons and the crime picture "Rogue Cop" (1954) with Robert Taylor. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties, appearing in "I Died a Thousand Times" (1955), the dramatic adaptation "The Cobweb" (1955) with Richard Widmark and "The Searchers" (1956). She also appeared in the Burt Lancaster adaptation "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" (1957). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Mr. Adams and Eve" (CBS, 1956-58). Nearing the end of her career, she tackled roles in the James Stewart western "Night Passage" (1957), "Run of the Arrow" (1957) and the biopic drama "The Wings of Eagles" (1957) with John Wayne.
