Mini Series Evergreen with Armand Assante
- Windi Montano
I loved the mini series Evergreen by Belva Plain. I taped it and my daughters accidentally taped over it. I want to see that movie again and cannot find anywhere. Can you or someone tell me how I could buy the mini series. I absolutely loved it! I have the book and read often but would sure love to watch again. Please, please let me know how I can obtain a copy. I cannot believe this would be the only movie in history a person cannot find or was not video taped in some way. Please let me know, I am very excited and want to see the movie again! It, in my opinion was the greatest movie ever made. The actors were all fantastic!!!! Thank you, Windi J Montano 303-475-8752
Rewatching Cinderella with my 83 year old mother-in-law who has dementia. She is loving it as much as the first time I saw it at age 12. So sorry not to see Ms. Warren in leading roles. Amazing actress!
Amazingly versatile actress!
- Rob Mayer
I've been a fan of Lesley Ann Warren for many years, probably since I first saw her charming and captivating performance as Cinderella when I was a teenager. But since then she has evolved into an incredibly gifted and versatile actress. Her Academy Award-nominated performance in VICTOR/VICTORIA certainly proves this, but she truly shines in dramatic roles. Take for example her performance in A NIGHT IN HEAVEN, a film which would have been an unbearable mess had it not been for Ms. Warren's touching performance as a college teacher who falls for one of her students. My favorite film role of hers came in the 1984 film CHOOSE ME, an absolute gem of a movie for which she should have received an Academy Award nomination for sure!
great actress in victor, victoria
just happened to see "victor, victoria" again and was amazed at what a terrific job lesley ann did as "norma" - really funny and talented actress...loved her in "79 park avenue" - glad to see that she was nominated for an academy award for "victor" - don't know who won that year but it should've been lesley ann...
