Born and bred in New York City, Glaudini grew up with the strong influence of her father, who penned plays and appeared in various screen productions. After getting stage experience, she started auditioning for TV and movie roles, snagging her first notable credit on an episode of the cop show "NYPD Blue." Two year later, she returned to the series as the troubled recurring character Dolores Mayo, even sharing the screen with her father briefly. She later appeared in a supporting part in the Johnny Depp-starring drug-trade drama "Blow" (2001), and was featured on episodes of "The Sopranos" as undercover FBI agent Deborah Ciccerone-Waldrup. In 2003, Glaudini joined the cast of the investigative show "The Handler" (CBS, 2003-04), but the series was quickly cancelled. Two years later, she signed up as a regular on "Criminal Minds," portraying Elle Greenaway, a specialist in dealing with sex crimes. Although the role suited her acting strengths, she departed the series after 28 episodes and returned to NYC. Glaudini subsequently starred on the short-lived ensemble mystery show "Persons Unknown" (NBC, 2010), and maintained her TV presence in a succession of one-off guest shots on primetime programs.
