Notes

"The most compelling theme of Hedwig's life was her lifelong desire, struggle and ultimate failure to become a rock star. Since that was also my story, I was able to write "Midnight Radio" from a very personal view point. And I cried every time we played it for the first month of the show." -- Trask on "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", quoted in an interview with Gay.com's Tom Musbach.
