Marie Bäumer was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Bäumer began her acting career with roles in such films as the Til Schweiger comedy "Maennerpension" (1996), the horror movie "Sieben Monde" (2000) with Jan Josef Liefers and "Der Schuh des Manitu" (2001) with Michael "Bully" Herbig. She also appeared in "Poppitz" (2002). Her film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like the dramatic adaptation "Risurrezione" (2002) with Stefania Rocca, "Viel Passiert: Der BAP Film" (2002) and "Der Alte Affe Angst" (2003). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "10 Sekunden" (2008), "Mitte Ende August" (2009) and the Bruno Ganz dramatic adaptation "The Day of the Cat" (2010). She also appeared in "Der Geschmack von Apfelkernen" (2013). Most recently, Bäumer acted in the foreign "En équilibre" (2015) with Cécile De France.

Not to be confused with Black concert and operatic soprano Florence Cole-Talbert. Flo was a Broadway actress and appeared in ‘Cinderella on Broadway: A Fantasy of the Great White Way,’ which opened June 24, 1920 and ran for 126 performances. Bert appeared on stage with her husband, El Brendel and their first appearance together was in a musical/dancing skit entitled ‘Waiting for Her.’
