In 2004, Cameron left DreamWorks to work at Sony, where he took on a new role as director for the sequel "Open Season 3." Continuing his trend of working on animated franchises, Cameron co-wrote and directed the holiday themed short "The ChubbChubbs Save Xmas," a follow-up to the 2002 Academy Award-nominated short "The ChubbChubbs." "The ChubbChubbs Save Xmas" was released in conjunction with the Cuba Gooding Jr. comedy "Daddy Day Camp."
