Charles Hutchinson worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Hutchinson started his acting career landing roles in such films as "War Brides" (1916), "The Great Gamble" (1919) and "Hurricane Hutch" (1921). He also appeared in "Go Get 'Em Hutch" (1922). He continued to work in film in the twenties and the thirties, directing motion pictures like "The Winning Wallop" (1926), "Out of Singapore" (1932) and the drama "Found Alive" (1933) with Barbara Bedford. In addition to his directing, Hutchinson also appeared on-screen in "Speed" (1923). Toward the end of his career, Hutchinson directed "On Probation" (1935), the western "Desert Guns" (1936) with Conway Tearle and "Night Cargo" (1936). In addition to his directing, Hutchinson also appeared on-screen in "Howard Beach: Making the Case For Murder" (NBC, 1989-1990). Most recently, Hutchinson acted in the Eddie Griffin comedy "The New Guy" (2002).
