Although not mentioned in the filmography, didn't Mr. Ingram appear in Huckleberry Finn with Micky Rooney in 1939 in the roll of Jim?

You said, "Not to be confused with silent screen director Rex Ingram," but that's just what you did. The filmography appears to belong to the older director Rex Ingram. Not only was actor Ingram fabulous as the genie in Thief of Baghdad, but I saw that movie (probably on TV) when I was verrry young and the genie was a recurring character in many of my childhood dreams (sleeping dreams, not daydreams). Maybe a little scary for a young kid (he was awfully big!), but still a friendly and helpful character.

Mr. Ingram is very personable in Green Pastures, my absolute favorite to see him in. This has to be an all-time family classic.

I have always found Mr. Ingram and his acting GREAT; I loved him in the Thief Of Bagdad.
