Actor Michael James was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. James started his acting career landing roles in such films as the fantasy romance "Xanadu" (1980) with Olivia Newton-John, "Horatio I.P.I." (1983) and "Warriors of the Apocalypse" (1986). He also appeared in the David Carradine action film "P.O.W. the Escape" (1986) and the action picture "Opposing Force" (1986) with Tom Skerritt. His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like "Return to the River Kwai" (1989) and the Brian Bosworth action movie "Stone Cold" (1991). James had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties, including "Sister, Sister" (WB, 1993-99), "Daddy's Girls" (CBS, 1994-95) and "Guns on the Clackamas" (1995) starring Keith Scales. His credits also expanded to "Public Enemy #1" (HBO, 1995-96) and "Living Out Loud" with Holly Hunter (1998). Most recently, James worked on "America's Funniest Home Videos: Matrimony Mania" (ABC, 2000-01).
