camps will form. people will talk of winter..and a chance of rain.no british guys doing fake accents..but there is jim dale playing a fun bad guy. no petite tough guy..but mickey rooney is..well you decide on that. red buttons is in it..so it could have had excessive nudity in it . helen reddy put her foot down on that..she had a roar..louder than that hbo jazz. alright..it is not like a certain cable show.it was an ok project from the 1970s. some people like it..some do not.it was made years before the technology of today. it still has a certain charm to it. the pace with the songs might make it feel sluggish at times. if shown at night..might help adults go to sleep..like a fairy tale being read to a kid. that does not seem so bad. more comparison to this and that other cable thing..that show has a lady boss who does all sorts of stuff to her family. this story has a lady with winters in her name..who plays boss lady to her family and.. hey it is disney..they kept her in check. cable show..a certain type of wedding. this..jeff conway.cable show..tough moments..dragons and monsters. this story..songs we got a bill of sale right here and candle on the water. cable show ..everyone who watches talks about the sex and violence. this story.. money ..money by the pound with jim dale and red buttons..so..they win.even a dragon can not beat jim dale.

To those who want to go back to a memory long ago, it is still a great movie. Loved as a kid and still do today. And to you negative folks out there who complain about this an that being not good and can't see anyone watching it. Well not every thing has to be about killing an blood guts and gore. Maybe if we had kids watching more of the classics and less of the violent junk on now days, maybe the kids could be more loving and kind to others. Bottom line it was and still is a great movie, for it's time and for todays kids young and old....

Painfully overlong, and so tedious at times. I couldn't imagine any kid sitting through it past 30 minutes. The animation isn't very good, and this is a Disney film! The musical numbers aren't at all memorable. The positive - colorful performances from Mickey Rooney and Shelley Winters. Some of the cast members are to bland, but overall the cast is good. There is some good cinematography.
