  • Lovely to run in the background...

... as you do other things: clean, lounge, paint your nails. I agree with Mr. Blandings, it needed a more charismatic lead and Dennis Morgan would have been the bomb. Anyhow, I love the way that Hollywood was a little town back in the day, with characters and scenery popping up in various movies. Here, bad old George Macready is once again a cane-wielding, top-hatted casino owner, just as he was the year before in Gilda. There was a decade when movies surmised this 'n that about the afterlife, the next realm. This was part of that time. Very pretty movie.

Entertaining film that is linked to "Here Comes Mr. Jordan" made six years earlier by several characters. Rita Hayworth is very good as the muse Terpsichore. Had the male lead been a stronger, more charismatic actor, like Dennis Morgan, the movie would have been even better.

  • Rita was a total package.......

This fun movie, staring my favorite red head, shows why Rita Hayworth was a true "Tripple Threat". She not only acts, she dances, and sings in this production...she shows us why she was such a great talent. Wish I had my own copy to play time and again........

  • beautiful Rita

i liked the movie, because I always liked Rita, She always had a way of swinging her hair around, and she was a good dancer. When my daughter was little, she saw this movie and she really liked the name Terpsichore, she even had a cat she named after the muse. I would like to see it in DVD, I would buy it for her, she would really be surprised.

All movie buffs: This movie is as great as "Here Comes Mr. Jordan" only better since it's the female version for all the gals. Would like to see it available to buy and have voted in favor of release.
