Richard Rodgers owes a great debt to Boris Morros
- L. Wm. Roberts
- 9/5/15
This otherwise less than memorable hour of Detective Drama is in-fact memorable for the Boris Morros score that undoubtedly provided the basis for Richard Rodgers' beautiful Victory At Sea opening theme. Richard Rodgers owed a great debt to Boris Morros.

Ray Millland Scores!
- Raymond Banacki
- 6/5/15
By today's standards, "Bulldog Drummond Escapes" is a pretty creaky mystery, but Ray Milland's humorous approach to the material was such a delight.

Why?

I'm not sure why an entire evening during prime time is given up to this mediocre series. Seems like it should have been scheduled for the middle of the night instead.

Bulldog Drummond Escapes (1937)
- Mr. Blandings
- 8/16/12
A fun little adventure-mystery, full of witty one-liners and a lively performance by Milland. Note: Of the more than two-dozen Bulldog Drummond films, Ray only played the title character once, whereas Ronald Colman played him twice before--in "Bulldog Drummond" (1929) and "Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back" (1934).
