  • Worst movie ever made..........

I'd rather sit through 2 showings of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians with a showing of Plan 9 from Outer Space in between than sit through this movie again. This has to be the absolute worst movie ever made..........

  • A Surreal Comic Masterpiece

    • Don Charles
    • 6/19/10

I despise blaxploitation films, but this farcical film is a brilliant satire of the genre, a crazed mix of ghetto stereotype, day-glo color, deadpan humor, Keystone coppery, Evel Knievel fetishism, and great '70s dance music. And there's a Black woman as the hero! The actors all seem to be having a good time; clearly, it was never meant to be taken seriously. Do the French know about Darktown Strutters? Their film critics would probably hail it as a comic masterpiece, and they'd be right.

  • Offended or Amused, I don't know which

Leave it to TCM to pull out another strange one for their Friday 11 pm movie. It's like an Alice Walker painting come to life... but on a crack pipe. It's so politically incorrect it's nearly unwatchable. Stick with it for the clothing and about an hour into it you'll get a plot.
